First established in 2014, our vineyards are part of our long-term vision at Borgo Santo Pietro to create a flourishing self-sustainable estate. Planted with a density of 6250 plants per hectare to ensure high-quality wine, our red and rosè wine crop consists largely of Sangiovese, with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir. White wine grapes under cultivation include Trebbiano Toscano, Chardonnay, and Viognier.
Borgo Santo Pietro encompasses two vineyards, fruit and nut orchards, an artisan cheese dairy, and an extensive biodynamic culinary garden that provides seasonal vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers.
“Every endeavour of Borgo Santo Pietro Wines revolves around a circular, efficient bio-autonomy. A realm where all agricultural and zootechnical activities coexist harmoniously to bring forth wines that reflect their core organic principles.”
A philosophy of nurture via nature and a spirit of collaboration is tangibly felt at Borgo Santo Pietro, where a team of farmers, culinary gardeners, and chefs work together to bring the fruits of organic cultivation to the table.
